โThe Western Australian Junior Olympiad (WAJO) is an annual competition open to any and all students upto year 9 as an accessible step into advanced maths competitions, ultimately acting as an excellent stepping stone towards entering the Australian Intermediate Mathematical Olympiad (AIMO).

WAJO is hosted online Tuesday 15 September (Week 9 Term 3) enabling students from outside the Perth Metropolitan area to enter. The competition portal is open from 2:30-4:00pm AWST.โ

The WAJO team component is held in person at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and in Bunbury (South West WA).

โTo express interest in entering, please ask the head of maths at your school.
